Shihan Mike Waite

Shihan Mike Waite holds the rank of 5th dan black belt in Zen Do Kai and BJC Muay Thai and is a 4th dan black belt Guro in Filipino Kombatan Arnis.
He is the owner and chief instructor of Advanced Martial Arts and Fitness in East Victoria Park and has more than 19 years experience in the martial arts, teaching for the past 17 years.
Shihan Mike’s specialities include Zen Do Kai, BJC Muay Thai, Kombatan Arnis (Presas style), Bojutsu and street awareness — self defence, restraint and removal against multiple opponents.
An interesting fact about Shihan Mike: Shihan Mike has represented WA at 5 International Philippines Martial Arts Federation (IPMAF) world training seminars. In 2007 he was inducted into the IPMAF Hall of Fame for his efforts in propagating Filipino Martial Arts.
