Many BJMA clubs have specialised fight training centres. Students can test their skills in novice competitions such as gym shows or more seasoned fighters may compete at WKA Fight Night.
WKA Fight Night
A World Kickboxing Association (WKA) sanctioned Fight Night is held, on average, every two months, throughout the year. The Fight Nights have taken on a new corporate look and approach following a promotional partnership between Justin Boylan (Total Martial Arts Centre) and Murray McKechnie (Kalamunda Kickboxing).
The two co-promote WKA Fight Night events in WA and have introduced several production and presentation changes in recent times as well as attracted corporate sponsorship to the events.
Justin is the WKA president and Murray its marketing manager.

The WKA has promoted kickboxing in WA since 1983, was the first to stage kickboxing events in the State and has maintained its leadership of the sport.
